Thank goodness for Jasper, who gives me a great excuse to put off the inevitable. Today we had a photo shoot and I think he's looking quite good. He feels fit, and demonstrated this to me today during our arena workout by kicking out and doing mini-bucks when he thought we should be cantering rather than trotting. He got in trouble for that, although I am happy he's feeling so good.

Do you know anything about a horse's night vision? I posted a hypothesis over on my blog a couple of days ago and wondered if you had to time to wander on over and take a look? I'm drawing from what I remember from my basic physiology and anatomy classes, but not specifically horse ones. Not sure if I'm on the right track or not...
