If The Trees Had Ears has a wonderful blog following her journey to endurance on her arab, Huckleberry. She is a veterinary technician and has some wonderful posts very clearly and concisely outlining some very good and basic physiological and biomechanical concepts that I consider essential for endurance. She summarizes from an APEX clinic she attended, but does a very wonderful job of doing so. Check 'em out.

And Huck is a handsome boy. But then I have a thing for Bay Arabs. ;-)
Thank you for your wonderful comments! I hope you find my clinic notes helpful. It was an amazing clinic with wonderful clinicians and a great group of riders.
I love following your blog with your ride and vet school stories. :)
If you (or anyone reading this) isn't familiar with APEX, look into it. Most of their clinics are focused in the SE region, but it's a great organization.
They're hosting a clinic in GA in January on nutrition that sounds fantastic. But I think we will be in SC for Huck's re-check ultrasound.
