I thought maybe Jasper was getting a little too much attention, and that maybe my husband's horse, Cricket, would like to have a bit of the spotlight for a while. This first one is the first time I rode him, while he was still in training. Not two seconds after this picture was taken, he clearly outlined our relationship by bucking and bolting across the arena. Doesn't he look crazy?
This is one of a series I took after I'd decided to sell him. I was not happy with him after he bolted with me for his final time, leaving me in the dirt and with an ER bill.
He's a cutie, I'll give him that.
